Parking Lot Gate

P2160001As many of you have seen we now have our parking lot security gate operational in our upper parking lot.  This gate is designed to protect the parking lot from unauthorized use therefore providing the necessary parking for our residents.  You will notice that as you approach the gate to enter the parking lot there is a card swipe mechanism.  You will need to use your apartment key card to enter the gate.  The call box that is located next to the card swipe is for commercial tenant use.  As you are exiting the parking lot the gate will automatically raise when you approach it.  Please allow for vehicles entering the parking lot to clear the gate area before exiting.  Our goal is to be able to provide parking for our residents at all times.  Please remember that ALL our parking policies still apply.

Fall reminders

PA190002 As we plunge into Fall we did want to take a moment to remind everyone about a few things.  First for anyone who still have their air conditioners in please contact the office to schedule a time to have it removed.  As we get into the cooler weather having the air conditioner still in will cause heat loss and making heating your apartment more expense.  On that same note if you wish to have our maintenance staff stop by to winterize your windows please call.  Our maintenance staff will be happy to stop by to add a foam insulation rope around the window seals to help eliminate drafts that might occur.  As the winter months and the colder weather set in this additional seal can really make a difference.  Last but not least we do want to again remind everyone that motorcycle parking is no longer available in either parking lot after November 30th so please make arrangements for this.  Remember parking stickers must be properly in place on the lower left hand side of your front windshield at all times.

Parking Confusion

Once again we find new parking signs posted on West Canal Street.  As of today the two hour parking on West Canal Street has once again gone to 7am to 7pm.  The City of Winooski has changed the parking regulations on West Canal Street again.  We are now back to between the hours of 7am to 7pm there is two hour parking only.  After 7pm it is unlimited parking but watch for this to change again.  We are told by the City that this is temporary and that within the next month or so this will change.  Confused???  I think the key is to always check the green and white signs posted on the side of the street before you park because you never know what it might be.  Winter parking ban will continue to be December 15th through March 31st.
